While adults typically communicate and express themselves using words, a child's primary language is play. As a parent, it can be confusing and frustrating to watch your child struggle to find ways to express their feelings. Through play, children can safely explore their inner world - thoughts, feelings, and body sensations and work toward increased problem solving as they learn and utilize new coping skills.

As a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist™, I use Synergetic Play Therapy™ (SPT) with children ages 12 and under. SPT is a researched-informed model of play therapy blending the therapeutic power of play with nervous system regulation, interpersonal neurobiology, physics, attachment, mindfulness, and therapist authenticity. Using this model, your child will learn more about their emotional responses and find new, healthy ways to express their feelings.
