All of us have the desire to feel heard and understood – like someone really “gets” us. I care deeply about giving you this experience while helping you make sense of your story so that you can move toward healing and restoration. Our bodies and minds have an amazing capacity to heal, and sometimes we just need to learn how to help them along. I am here to hold space for you, listen to your story, and help you explore your inner world. My approach to counseling is to lead with authenticity - you get to be you, and I will be me. No matter what has brought you to seek counseling in this season of your life, you don't have to hold it alone.
My clinical experience began at Colorado Christian University where I received my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Synergetic Play Therapist™ under the supervision of Leslie Pechkurow, LPC (License #: LPC-1434). Though I enjoy working with all ages, adolescents are my speciality. I have over 12 years experience working with children, teenagers, and adults in various capacities. As your partner and advocate, I will help you work toward personal, achievable goals. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed and weighed down with life, or watching your child struggle with their emotions, I can help.
I am originally from Colorado and love being active and outdoors. In my free time I enjoy yoga, cycling, collecting vinyl records, reading fantasy novels, playing board games, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending time with my husband and dog. I love Star Wars, The Beatles, musical theater, Harry Potter, superheroes, and SciFi. You can also find me geeking out about all things neuroscience-related.
